Keratin is a structural protein, and therefore, it can strengthen hair and reduce breakage. Some people say that treatments help their hair grow faster, as the ends are not splitting or breaking. BEFORE YOUR KERATIN APPOINTMENT Get your permanent color, semi-permanent color or highlights directly before your keratin treatment. The treatment seals in the color, making it last longer and appear more vibrant. Make sure no event requiring an up-do, hat, or any bands or clips is on your schedule as hair must hang loose for three days after your treatment. Review your calendar to be sure nothing requiring your hair to get wet is planned for the three days after your treatment. This includes visits to humid places. Keratin treatments are not recommended for pregnant or nursing women. Stock up on sulfate-free shampoo and conditioners.

Sombre: Sombre is basically a subtler, more natural-looking version of ombre highlights. Color melt: when a stylist uses three or more colors and overlaps them in a way to create a seamless blending of shades that looks like it could've naturally occurred, even if the colors used to achieve the effect aren't natural hair colors.

Just as the name suggests, a root touch up is when you apply hair color to the roots of your hair. This is usually recommended every few weeks after coloring your hair. Root touch ups are a great option in between your hair color appointments. They help you cover the greys that start to peek through. We expect you to come to the salon every four to six weeks for touchups. One exception is for grey coverage.

A hair toner is a product that helps you correct or personalise your colour. It is used to add natural or more visible tones after a professional colour treatment. As a result, it enhances the tonality of your hair.
