Surface piercings may reject over time, due to many circumstances. Depending on the severity and overall health of the piercing, regular removal procedure includes a single-use tool to grip onto the jewelry and gentle pressure to release the anchor base. Most likely, a small scar will remain once healed. It is not advised to repierce the same area for some time, if ever. Please consult with your piercer for further information.
