This service offers valuable insights into why your hair loss is happening, and guides you on how to effectively collaborate with your healthcare providers and hairstylists. Gain the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your hair care journey and restore your confidence. Please book a wig/topper fitting separately if you are interested in exploring alternative hair methods.

Alternative hair options can be overwhelming. This consultation/fitting is a great introduction into the world of wigs/toppers and how different alternative hair methods can work within your lifestyle. Your unique lifestyle and personal preferences are a priority ensuring you find a style that enhance your confidence with as much comfort as possible. You're encouraged to bring a friend or family member for support, (and honest eyes). During your appointment, we'll cover how wigs and toppers can integrate into your daily life, and what that routine will look like. Your comfort and confidence are our main goals, and it's an honour to provide you with the knowledge and safe space needed to navigate your hair loss journey with ease. About
Alopecia Academy offers private one on one support to meet the needs of individuals with all types of hair loss. Sessions are thorough which is why it is important that the appointment stay separate from a typical salon appointment (example hair cut/colour). It is also suggested that alternative hair fittings are booked separate from an initial hair loss consultation. Everyone is welcome. Each client is encouraged to make decisions with confidence as they gain knowledge through their hair journey in a safe non judgmental space. To be sure your needs are met after an initial consultation services are available to explore alternative hair such as wigs and toppers. Other services include how to work with your thinning bio hair, and how to choose products and services that are most in alignment with while keeping possible limitations in mind. Alopecia Academy will not diagnose, and is not a replacement to medical advice. Clients understand that these appointments are available to offer education, track progress, fit and maintain alternative hair while being supported alongside a physician, dermatologist and any other care providers.
